How lovely that you’ve dropped by to find out about celebrant training and see what we’re all about!

If you’ve been doing your due diligence you’ll be aware that there are now approximately a gazillion celebrant-training organisations out there and, of course, you absolutely need to choose the trainer that’s right for you. So, obviously, we’re going to hit you with our amazing pitch in the hope that you choose us!

Here’s the bones of the situation:

We are known for our honest, no-nonsense, down-to-earth approach – along with being pretty hilarious. We aren’t trying to sell you some mythical unicorn version of being a celebrant, we want you to understand the job inside out, warts and all. We expect you to go into this career with your eyes wide open and a thorough understanding of the challenges as well as the rewards.

Our funeral celebrant training is like no other training out there – we aren’t approaching funeral training from a ‘twenty minutes up the crem rinse and repeat’ standpoint, we’re all about choice – from venues, to transport to different kinds of coffins or shrouds – we want you to be able to support your clients to have the send-off that is right for them, whatever that may be. We need you to have a really board understanding of the world of funerals – an understanding that goes beyond the basic funeral-director-as-gatekeeper model and puts you in full control of your own destiny.

When it comes to wedding celebrant training we have, again, left no stone unturned. If you choose to train to be a wedding celebrant with us we guarantee you we have gone out of our way to provide you with every bit of information you’ll need to hit the ground running. We have demonstrated everything from tying the knot to conducting couples interviews and have provided you with a really comprehensive blueprint for success.

Keeping it simple

We’ve tried to avoid any hidden extras so everything we can possibly think of from the ceremonial side of things is in there. We are transparent about what other training or resources might benefit you (not always through us, as we can’t be experts in everything) but when it comes to membership of our closed groups and listings on our directories there’s no charge, baby!

Accreditation

Yes, we do know our celebrant onions and we are totally confident that our course content not only cuts the mustard but totally makes the grade. But, just to reassure you that we’re not just tooting our own trumpets with no evidence to back up our claims, we have gone to the effort and expense of seeking external scrutiny and getting our courses CPD accredited. We can’t tell you what a pair of brainboxes we felt when that came through – we literally feel like we got a PhD in celebrancy – Doctors of Weddings and Funerals… PhD = perfectly happy dudes!
